In this workshop we will walk through the possibilities of improving the privacy of Bitcoin wallets. WabiSabi is a protocol to coordinate collaborative bitcoin transactions, without revealing any sensitive information to the server or other clients. It enables the creation of anonymous, flexible, and highly scalable bitcoin transactions. Existing and new wallets can integrate the WabiSabi cryptography and use the coinjoin API of existing or custom coordinators.
Bitcoin has been around for over a decade now, but its use as money has always been limited by its lack of privacy and anonymity. Recent developments have given rise to new solutions that enhance the privacy and anonymity of Bitcoin transactions. In this talk, we will explore three such technologies: Wabisabi CoinJoin, Lightning Network, and Custodial Ecash. These technologies represent a significant step forward in the quest for anonymous transactions on the Bitcoin network. As good as these tools are already today, we look forward to seeing how these technologies continue to evolve and improve in the near term future.
